Its been a bit of a mixed couple of days.
Tim, Andy and myself headed to Back Bowden doors for some trad on Thursday but were held to ransom by the gushingness of the crag, after some un-called for, unethical, uncounty-like shitey downpours, we consoled ourselves by eating and drinking things whilst sitting underneath the roof of The Sorcerer. Im sure each of us at some point got the guide book out, wandered along the crag and said "Im tempted, but............".
It was official, after bouldering a couple of moves on the free standing blocs our phasers were indeed not set to "Trad Ruckus!", but firmly locked at the "lazy gay boulder day with a picnic in one hand" setting.No amount of late sunshine could reset this and the switch remained stuck.
We had a nice day though, Tim mastered a roof problem and looked strong on another(impressive).Andy spotted some potential lines for his next trip and remained pure on the ethics of onsighting the sorcerer(admirable), I managed to almost top out the roof prob and nailed the Peak Technique dyno again, proving that fat white men can jump after all.
Today Tim and I went to North Berwick.
We were not on fire

Whos up for the Reiff(or somewhere) trip?
17th 18th 19th May?
Maybe head up Sat morn, climb sat, sun and Mon, home Monday nite...
Or if weather is bad, head South, or wherever.
Let us know for numbers/cars etc..

im well up for a wee trip to reiff! if the destination changes i might bail, aint gonna get much use out of ma fishing rod at stanage!
had a couple of good trips at weekend, nice afternoon at cave crag on sat and a quicj couple of unethical routes at Nth Berwick on sunday. i feel dirty!

Neil think a shiny set of cams to flog your self with is the only suitable punishment!
